‘Nothing Like Something’ is a first edition solo publication by Street Photographer Nils Jorgensen, a carefully crafted art book designed by Studio Sutherl&.
The book design is a beautifully simple embodiment of Nils' playful process in curating the book. In Nils' own words,“I liked the idea of a random photo sequence. It is all akin to street photography itself, the beauty of chance visual happenings. The 100 featured photographs in the book are not in a particular order. The final sequence came about by shuffling the photos like a pack of cards”.
By leaving the cover blank albeit for two debossed panels (NOTHING) Studio Sutherl& invite the viewer to experience the joyous nature of juxtaposing different images with an accompanying box of adhesive photographs (SOMETHING), allowing them to customise their own book with a unique combination, lovely stuff.
Beautiful, observant photographs taken by Alice Ishiguro Tosey capturing the visual relationship between people's homes and vehicles in Tokyo. The photo series tell a story of an everyday society appreciative of aesthetic harmony and beauty.
The collective body of images have been released as a limited edition book of 200 copies.

Love these thumb-stopping launch images for Hiut Denim from Welsh agency Bwtîc. Hiut Denim Co. is a small independent denim company based in Cardigan, Wales. Hiut only have only four launches each year.
Bwtîc created launch photography for their first launch of 2022; the ultimate Double-Black jean. Aiming to build intrigue and hint at the product specification; without giving too much away. Using the West Wales coastline Hiut calls home as the location – they created a teaser campaign where the jeans themselves can only be seen in the reflection of the water. The result is a surreal and surprising set of images that slowly reveal the product in the run up to launch.
